It's always amazing how even the village wines from Leroy stand out. A medium nose of earth, minerals, dark raspberry, black cherry and spice. Medium minus-to-medium body, medium intensity and medium plus acidity. Dark raspberry, cherry, earth, minerals and light pine. Balanced with another 4-8 years ahead of it. 90pts.

This is the second time I have had this wine in the past week and I have been impressed both times with this 20 years old Village wine. Medium nose of sweet red fruits, earth, spice, meat and tea. Medium minus body, medium-to-medium plus intensity and medium plus acidity. Very balanced and refined with many years ahead.
