  • 2003 Verget Chablis Terroir de Chablis - France, Burgundy, Chablis (9/8/2005)
    Spec's Burgundy Tasting - Mostly 2003s (L'Alliance Francais, Houston Texas): Light gold in color; Slight pear and heavy stone minerality on the nose and through the middle. Finishes crisp with some acidity. This wine is completely unoaked and quite focused as pure chardonnay. An early drinker and very nice buy at ~$22. (88 pts.)
