| Tasted 08/24/2005.
A spicy nose, filled with minerals and stone. On the palate, full bodied, with honey, lemon, pears, and a long, spicy, mineral laden finish. Very nicely balanced acidity, crisp and refreshing. The oak is still a little prominent on this one, and I would like to try it in a couple of years when it has had more time to integrate.
Overall, my #1 WOTN in this tasting. But I bet it will be even better with another year or two under its belt.
