| Dark garnet, lightening at the edge, cloudy. Medium plus intensity nose, damp earth, tea, cinnamon, clove, dark cherry and strawberry. Medium bodied, medium plus intensity, medium acidity. More earth, tea, wood elements/baking spices and a beautiful purity of cherry/strawberry. Balanced with slightly drying wood tannin. Nice, but like all Laurent wines the massive oak treatment takes away from and masks the great fruit. 89pts. | | |

| Deep burgundy, medium minus nose of smoke, baking spices, earth, cherry, black cherry, leather and GC gamey elements. Medium body, medium plus intensity and medium-to-medium plusacidity this shows more great fruit on the palate with black cherry, black raspberry, strawberry, tea, earth, dried pine needles, cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium-to-medium plus tannins, balanced, drink or hold 6-10 years. | | | |
