Mailer offering 3 packages + Magnums arrived yesterday.   Reds are 2005, Whites are 2006.

Il Figlio Tour includes 2xsauv blanc @ $25/per, 1 Chardonnay @ $42, 1 Merritagio @55  TTL $147

Tuscan Tour incl 2 x Cab @ 75 per, 1 Elevation @125, 1 Sangiovese @ 60 + Chard and Merritagio TTL $432

Elite Tour incl 1 Merlot @ 60, + 3 Cabernet + 4 Merritagio + 4 Elevation TTL $1005

Shipping (3 day, not overnight) also appears steep, at $40/50/84 for each of the respective packages.  While it notes that this includes sales tax if applicable, it doesn't include a deduction oppty for out-of-state shipments.

I certainly enjoy their wines, not just 1147.  And a tasting with David Long is about as much fun as you can have in a day (if you can afford to spend the entire day at his place AND have a designated driver).  But I don't like buying packages, and it appears easier (and comparable or cheaper by the bottle) to get only what you want on the secondary market.

I also got the mailer, but am passing. FYI, I just had their 05 Chard and thought it was quite good.

I can find these fairly easily at retail or auction.
I don't like the packaging options at all, and the shipping prices are WAY out of line!
It hit the recycling bin in record time.
