2004 Lail Blueprint Bottle
Order limit: 18
Price: $48

Called a "must have wine for your cellar" in the letter. Have never tried a Lail wine before.

I get a mailer from them twice a year. Not only have I never tried their wine or signed up for the mailer, I've never met anyone that has tried them or at least said they did either.

I've got a few of the 1999 Lail J Daniel Cuvee. It's pretty good juice. I took one to an offline at The Loft with Stefania Wine and (I think) King Of Hearts about a year ago and it was well received.

The Blueprint is their second wine. I tried the 02 at The Wine Club. It's decent enough but it's readily available at retail; no way I'd pay $48 for it.

I've had the 02 twice and I have a couple of bottles left. It's a great bottle of wine. I just had the 99, and did not have the same experience as Dave Tong.

I need to elaborate: this is the J. Daniel Cuvee not the Blueprint.
