Happy New Year. And thank you for a wonderful 2006!
We've moved into our new tasting room, sold out of every drop of wine we had to sell (except for the tasting room's stash, of course) and received some wonderful ratings and reviews from those in the know. Most importantly, you and your fellow Pride fans have continued to support us by stocking your cellars, making the trek up the mountain to spend some time with us, and sharing your Pride with your fine wine loving friends. Yes, we have an amazing winemaker and a great staff, and yes, we have a superb mountaintop growing site, but if it weren't for you, it would all be for naught.
With that thought in mind, it is our great pleasure to offer those of you who have earned a spot on our Reserve List through your purchases and support, our very finest wines for your drinking and collecting pleasure.
Once you've clicked through, you may click on any of the wines shown on your order form to view the entire newsletter, including tasting notes on each wine and important details regarding the allocation program and Will Call and shipping dates.
Please remember that you must order by Tuesday, February 27th to take advantage of your allocation.
I ordered 6 cab, 6 claret, 3 sangiovese, requested an additional 6 claret and a mag of claret. Considering the price hikes going on in Napa, these are priced at a "reasonable" $120 each claret & cab, $55 sangiovese.

| I just got this email. I think my credit card company will be calling me today to see if I lost it and to confirm my recent purchases. | | | |

| I signed up for the Reserve list two years ago and got my first allocation today. I have also bought every single bottle of regular Pride they have ever offered me which I know helps.
Anyone know if once you have made it onto the Reserve list do purchases of the regular bottling affect Reserve allocations going forward?

I finally got on this year, after requesting about 3 years ago. I have bought full allocations of the Cab and Vintner's Select Merlot since the 2000 vintage.

I've been on the waiting list for 3+ years, buying all my regular allocations. When I saw the RP numbers come in low on these, I guessed that I'd make it this year.
And I was right. | | | |

| CWG - Parker hasn't rated the reserves. They will certainly come in higher than the regular bottlings; I think its safe to say there aren't any 100 point wines in the lot.
In any case, I've enjoyed every Pride reserve I've had. Believe it or not, I'm one of those that enjoys the Sangiovese; it is quite a treat. But hey, to each their own.

| Randy,
I agree on the Sangio. Nice wine, but it's best drunk young for the outrageous fruit.
I also have enjoyed every Pride Reserve I've had.

Oops, I thought that the 2004s were reviewed in the December Advocate. But the 2004 regular cab only got 88. I like all their wines, it's just a lot of $$.

| Anyone want a few (1-3) Reserve Cabs let me know. I will most likely only get 3 for myself. | | | LC17SMP | |
