| The very first Sandler Wine Co. mailer came out yesterday. This is Ed Kurtzman's personal project, and so far the results have been excellent! Last years Zin was outstanding....one of my favorites of all time...and it was under $20! This time around he's offering Syrah (Connell Vineyard in the Bennett Valley) and of course Pinot (sourced from the Garys', Rosella's and Pisoni vineyard....wine he took over from Roar). I've had the Pinot twice now...and it's really damn good....and only $30! No brainer here! The Syrah is also excellent, and is also only $30! This is the shipped price by the way! If you miss out on getting on this very small list now....it's going to be waiting list time by the next mailer. He's not making much wine with this project, so get in now while you still can! sandlerwineco@yahoo.comChris | | |

| Yeah, I agree that the Zin is a very good wine. I'm in for all of my allocation for Pinot and Syrah.

| hm I got my email as well, and I'm a big fan of Kurtzman's wines, though I know *NOTHING* about Sandler. Guess Ill go for 2&2, can't be much of a loss at $30 | | | |

Same boat here, but he e-mailed us that it looked good for us to get the pinot, so hopefully we do.

| I'm in for 2 and 4! Spoke with Ed today, but did not have enough time to really talk to him about the project. I hope it gets off to a good start. I'll support any established winemaker that starts out his project with $30 wines. It's too soon that they get to $100.
Best of luck Ed, and hope to meet you at Pinot Days or sometime...

| Just got off the phone with Ed. I'm in for the full allocation 2 + 6. With Ed as the winemaker and $30/bottle all in how can you go wrong?? | | | |

| I was playing Pinot Count Down with Ed via email. He was down to 4. Then 2 min later, 2 left. Then 2 minutes later, "That was quick!!!" I am waiting confirmation that his last email was meant that I scored the last 2 bottles. If not, @#$%!!!!!!! | | | |

| 2 Pinot and 4 Syrah arrived today. The labels make you want to drink these while listening to a 20 minute live version of Saint Stephen. Cool. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| Reading this thread while listening to RFK Stadium, DC, 6/10/73 on the computer makes me regret not getting any of the Sandler....
