| offering:
2004 Howell Mnt. Zinfandel, $42 each, no apparent limit
2004 Howell Mnt. Grenache, $35 each, limit 6
2004 Howell Mnt. Zinfadel Magnum, $120, limit 1
I'll be maxing out the Grenache and asking for more, and going heavy on the Zin (though I don't think I'll do the mag. this year). | | | 2008: the end of an error |

Same "allocation" here as Eric. Glad to see they have the same prices as last year. Not sure the Zinfandel is worth the $42.00 price tag. The grenache is a fun and funky kind of wine that might be worth the $35.00 price of admission. | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone.

| Outpost is one of the best Zins coming out of CA! You can't pass on the ZIN! Compare to Turley, for example! $42 isn't unreasonable for a Zin of this caliber! (how'd I do bird-man? ) | | | 2008: the end of an error | |

| It is not cheap, but I agree that it is a great bottle of Zin. | | | |

| I got my snail mailer today. No apparent limit on anything. Do others have an actual allocation? | | | |

| It's on the order form following the description of the wine. For example, 2004 Howell Mountain Grenache (6 Max.). | | | |

| frank from outpost was at the taste of howell mtn on saturday and they were pouring the new release grenache and zinfandel as well as a barrel sample of their 2004 cab. the grenache is light and frooty and very approachable now the zin was a little more closed up (could have been the weather, it was 95 up there and most wineries were keeping their wines chilled) but had some nice soft tannins and a lingering finish.
i'd say buy. | | | Owner/Winemaker m2 Wines

Actually I thought they did the best job there of keeping the wine temps close to right.
The Grenache was not as "big" as I remember the '03 being but definitely very, very nice and really easy to drink (dangerous wine!). I bought my six bottles.
She was also pouring on Sunday at "Wine, Women and Shoes" where I confirmed that I liked the wine several more times .
