That is quite an endorsement! I will definetly order from this mailer, but a case is about the max. What do you recommend? I like Chardonnay and PN.

| Dan- any buying hints you can provide would be much appreciated. This is my first offering from Littorai. I think you've probably tasted most of these. I'll go back through the Oeno-files but your brief thoughts would be great. TIA. | | | |

| I have not tasted the 2004s yet but given the vintage's characteristics based on what I have tasted as well as Ted Lemon's skill and quality of vineyards I'm comfortable buying in quantity. Money allocated to Turley and Dehlinger has been reallocated to the Littorai offerings.
If I needed to limit my purchases I would max out the One Acre Pinot first. If I still had money to spend after that then if you are risk adverse you max out Summa followed by Savoy. For the more risk tolerant I'd buy The Haven Pinot.
Given the rarity and location of The Tributary Chardonnay that is a wine that imo is tough to pass on as well.
If one wants more variety then what I have described above the Spring Release Mixed Case followed by the Pinot Noir Mixed Case would be a good option to take imo - I've never had a bad wine from Littorai.
One caveat in considering this offer: If one really prefers the Pinotfandel style of New World Pinot Noir then you will probably be happier passing on Littorai wines.

Compared to you I'm a lightweight. I checked the boxes for everything I wanted and it totaled 2.25 cases. I'm having Art deliver it, of course, but unless I misread the mailer it looks like delivery is $21.50/case whether the case has 1 bottle or 12. Since I'm not about to pay $21.50 to deliver 3 bottles of wine when he was already coming here anyway, I backed it down to an even 2 cases.

| That's the way I read the shipping cost using Art as well. I was ok with a full case charge for nine bottles but with three I totally see where you are coming from. | | | |

| IIR the 2003 One Acre was not available, but it appears back in health for 2004.
Jones, was the infestation that you had mentioned short lived?

| I only recently signed up for the mailing list (I know, dumb dumb dumb). Anyone know if there is a waiting list, or if I'll get an offer this time around? | | | 2008: the end of an error | |

| No they tore the infected vines out shortly after the 2004 grapes were harvested. The quality was good enough in 2004 however to make a "final" (at least until the vines are replanted and age long enough to produce sufficient quality) One Acre. Declassifed barrels went into Les Larmes. All of the 2003 One Acre was declassified and put into Les Larmes. | | | |

Dito. I just joined about a month ago after having their Mays Canyon Chard at The Farmhouse Inn....wow, what a great Chard in the non-buttery non-oaked style I love!
Just hoping to get allocated some wine now!

| Thanks for the recommendations. I received the mailer today, and will be faxing it in tomorrow.
It looks like the Summa Pinot was the short crop in 2004, while Thieriot has sprung back.

| Alex, thanks for posting. My mailer got sent to the wrong email address. I wouldn't have known to follow up otherwise. JonesWine has never led me astray. I am in for 3 cases. | | | |

| There isn't a waiting list. I just called and was told they are sending out e-mails in two waves, and I'd get the second wave since I just joined recently.
