At least this time I know where the mailer came from. It is introduced by Gemstone, done by two friends Gary Ochwat and Ricardo Cajulis. They have a website:www.garriccellars.com


Unfortunately it is yet another $75 Cab.. which I do not particularly need in my cellar. The wine maker is Art Finkelstein, consultant Pam Starr. They say the fruit is from two proven, world class Napa Valley Vineyards... unfortunately there is no indication what vineyards.

Anyone know anything about this venture? Anyone tasted it?

I've met and talked to both of these fellas about six months ago. Iirc they live in New York City 50% of the year and Calistoga 50% of the year. A very likeable couple. I know nothing about their wine.
