| Well, it looks like the first wave of mailers is about to be upon us:
Bryant Family Kistler Kobalt Marcassin Sloan
I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch of others. Time to take a second out on my home.

| Randy,
What is Saxum releasing? Is this their 2004 Rocket Block and Broken Stones?
The 2002 Bressler will be a must buy for me. I hope it is the end of January because Kistler and Bryant will be next week, Sloan will be the second week, and the others the back half of January.

| According to CellarTracker, this is what is coming in the next 30 - 45 days for me:
Kobalt
Kistler
Quilceda (can't believe anyone hasn't mentioned this yet)
Sloan
Turley
Bressler
Colgin
Herb Lamb (EII)
and Pride Reserves (shared mailer)

| No one has mentioned Kosta Browne. Isn't the 4 Barrel in January. I am saving my pennies. | | | |

Dave,
You're right! First week of Jan.
Anyone hear about the 2003 Quilceda Creek? Another huge score from RP?

| Tanzer gives the 2003 Quilceda Creek comparable, if not slightly better, scores to the 2001 and 2002 bottlings, so it appears a strong buy. | | | |

| Last year they released the rocket block & broken stones in january. Based on the saxum wines I've had so far, I will be purchasing everything I can. Great great wines, reasonable prics. | | | |

| Well, then I need to add them to my list of buy wines. I did get one their mailer for the 2003 Bone Rock release ($65 per)
Last year, the prices were very reasonable for the Rocket Block and Broken Stones. Based on the increase for the 2003 Bone Rock, I wonder what the prices will be this year for the 2004s.
How are the 2004s compared to the 2003s?

| Parker rated the 03 Rocket Block at 98. I completely agree. He's rated the 04 Rocket Block at 92-94, so that removes a little bit of the pricing pressure. | | | |

| I know its purely wishful thinking but....... If I were to get on the Pride Reserve List (Im told it may be soon) and the Sloan list (joined pretty early on and before Parker reviews) and I am on Quilceda List this could get VERY costly. Im not holding my breath but rather just considering the possibilities so I can be prepared if needed. Just the Quilceda alone could be pricey. | | | LC17SMP | |

| Does anyone know...
Is there a way to track expected mailer dates in CellarTracker? (not the wine, just the mailer). Thanks!

That would be a nice feature. Send an email to Eric, eric@cellartracker.com.

Indirectly - once you have built up your purchase history in Cellartracker, just look back at any time period, month or quarter and you can see from last year's purchases what mailers are coming up. Gives you a good idea of which wines are due (as long as the mailer dates remain consistent).

| I've found it more useful to use Quicken to see when the money went out, and how much | | | |

| Hundred Acre Shiraz mailer going out next week per H.A.
I've heard (read) pretty lofty prices rumored for this but I will most likely pick up the minimum at least. | | | LC17SMP

Did some barrel tasting with Dan last weekend. They won't be sending out a mailer for the 4 barrel until later this year. The next KB mailer is for appelation wines sometime in March/April.
I did barrel taste two of the barrels they are tentatively planning to put in the 4 barrel (they've been doing their blends the last week or so)....and they were pretty damn good...but I had them independant of each other. I'm sure the final blend will be incredible as usual. Can't wait!
The most impressive barrel sample I had was the 05 Rosella's....wow what an awesome wine that one is going to be!!
