| If you act REALLY fast, Wine Library has this bottle listed on their "Just In" page for $120. I'm not a fan of this winery in general, but this seems to be a very fair price on this bottle.
For best results, put them in your cart and pay for them straight away.

| ...And for people who complained about the list prices for the Arietta's (like me), the Cab, "H" Block and Variation I are all available under $100. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| Has Laube had a chance to publish bottle scores from 2003, and if so, are they drastically different from his disasterous barrel scores?:

| For those who blinked and hesitated both wines mentioned at WL are gone. I ordered last night and the order is still in limbo. Either the power of this board to move product for WL is incredible or else the quantities were miniscule. | | | |

| I try not to be commercial on the board - I end up biting my tongue a lot - but jeez, if anybody still coverts this wine I've got plenty. My shelf price is $125 and that's before the VinoCellar 10% discount.

I too will recommend Richard's store. Stopped in to pick up some wines for a local enabler and myself, and its a very nice detour between wine country and SFO. He's got a great selection priced fairly, in a nice little old-age downtown area, not unlike Scarsdale for those east-coasters who've taken a drive to Zachy's.

| Am I one of the last forumites that still really likes the 1147? Is my judgement clouded by a 4 hour tasting there in 2001? | | | |

| cwg-i have enjoyed any i have ever tasted. i think people were scared away by laube's barrel scores of the 2003's and since parker does not rate them, there is no second opinion. i am not sure if tanzer rates the 1147. | | | |

| I missed out on the 1997 which got 99 WS points, but I did get to taste it at the winery. I've bought every vintage since and really liked them. | | | |

| I just cannot believe that David Arthur would release that poor of a wine under the Elevation 1147 label. I ordered a bottle just to try and if Laube is wrong then I can finally be done with him. If he's correct then the winery made a serious mistake and makes me wonder why Parker doesen't review them anymore. Years ago he spoke very favorably of them and I just assumed they had a falling out. | | | |

| i believe david does not provide wines for parker to taste and does not welcome him for in house barrel tastings. | | | |

| After a 75-79 rating from Laube he may change his mind unless it's over something personal. | | | |
