| Just received via email.
03 Dutton Ranch RRV Chardonnay, $60
03 McCrea Vinyeard Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay, $60
03 Hyde Vineyard Carneros Chardonnay, $60
03 Durell Vineyard Sonoma Valley Chardonnay, $65
03 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir, $60
"The crop size for the outstanding 2003 vintage was reduced by the poor flowering and crop set which occurred in the unusually wet months of April and May. And, in spite of the challenging heat in September which compressed the harvest down to a heart-pounding three weeks, our chardonnay vineyards in 2003 once again demonstrated their rare ability to produce boldly flavored, rich and complex wines while maintaining a sense of balance and harmony."

| I was only allocated 42 bottles this time around! Should I take that personally? Breakdown was 24/8/3/3/8. | | | |

| Interesting, I have not received an email from them. I love kistler wines, but I'm wondering how much public bashing there will be this time for their mailing list practices?
Anyone in the san jose area interested in sharing an allocation?

| In June they sent an e-mail which mentioned that they would be able to send out order forms via snail mail and e-mail. But you had to inform them of your preference.
"Beginning this release, we will be able to e-mail or fax order forms in addition to sending them by mail. If you would like to take advantage of this, please let us know which method you would prefer, and make sure we have your most current e-mail address or fax number.
Members who prefer to receive order forms by mail only and customers who signed up online and already indicated their preference do not need to respond."

| I got the email, too. My split is 24/4/3/1/6. Probably because I ordered via LCC's mailer last time. Not sure what to order yet, but annoyed I only got allocated one stinking Durrell. Grr. | | | www.roguefood.com -- www.cellartracker.com | |

| Got mine last night, too. Was allocated 24/10/3/4/12. None are particularly compelling to me, but all sound like our kind of wine ... so here goes more money to 4707 Vine Hill Road! | | | Cheers, y'all | |

| I forgot to add the allocation breakout. A total of 60 bottles, 24/14/4/6/12
Dutton Vineyard production seems to be normal. Others, especially Durell, are down. Mark Bixler, in the newsletter, says Durell is 50% of normal, McCrea is down by one-third, and there are 500 fewer cases of the SC Pinot in 2003 (compared to 2002).

| How does their PN stack up against Martinelli and others? | | | |

| Kistler Pinot on average is better, sometimes significantly so, than Martinelli imo | | | |

| I just got the mailer via snail-mail. I got the 24/6/3/3/8 allocation.
If anyone in the NY/NJ/CT area that is interested please PM me as I won't be taking my entire allocation.

| How come no one is complaining about the case minimum requirement this go around? that's usually good for a page or two of discussion on the thread... | | | |
