There are a couple of places in the UK that can compete with that price but everything in the USA is way more expensive. If you like this wine that price is a buy according to

I think I remembered seeing that they have the 2002 also for $39.99. Not sure, but I think both are pre-arrival pricing.

those are good prices.... i have been thinking about getting some.... if you like this style of wine I suggest springing for it.
considering Dead Arms are often $50-$60 at the store and definitely over $100 on a wine list...
these 2 vintages lag the 1998 and the 2001 but they still scored 94 and 92+ from Parker i think, if that gives you a data point. I think the dead arm is a very interesting bottle of wine, fun to experience something that heavy... at that price it is worth giving it a shot just for Ss&Gs.
I have some of the 2001, but none of 2000 or 2002.

These are good prices. But the real temptation is to get the ‘00 vintage - cheaper and probably a better wine.
