I met the vintner, PeterNelson at an off line I hosted in Austin, TX. He brought a bottle of the 2000 Cabernet which was quite nice. Great representation of Stags Leap. Winemaker is Michael Silacci (Stags Leap Cask 23, and now Opus One) and Jim Barbour is the vineyard manager. $50 each. Pretty good stuff. And Boo Beckstoffer manages their list. (707) 246-9978.

CWG, I had a bottle of this last year and also thought it to be quite good particularly for a 2000.
