Does any one still buy these?  The local mega wine shop has them for $30 on clearance.  I was thinking it might be nice to pick up a few.  But I don't want to put money into glasses that are not worth the hype.

Thanks
Jeremy

Yes. I would buy at least a couple at $30 each.

At that price I would buy at least 6. (1.5 glasses at the normal price).

I have a couple of these glasses and I'm not convinced they're worth the hassle or the price. But I also don't find them all that attractive, so that might be coloring my opinion somewhat. It is certainly an exceptional price.

Thank you for the info, I bought 3 Burgundy's and 1 Bordeaux.  That was all they had left.   Now what should I open first.

Burgundy maybe? :) Be very careful with them though as they are very fragile. Too fragile for me!

Congrats on your purchases!

Please let us know how you like the stemware. You might want to try a taste test with the new glasses and your "everyday" stems.

Nice price.  I have sets of burgundy and bordeaux, but to be honest, I have only used them 3-4 times max in the last 5 years.  Just too fragile to use more often--at least for us.
