2007 Chardonnay 'Ma Douce'- Sonoma Coast - $70
2007 Chardonnay 'Ma Princesse'– Russian River Valley - Sonoma County - $85
2007 Chardonnay 'Coup de Coeur' – Sonoma Coast - $125 (!), $275 mag (!!)
2007 Pinot Noir 'Coteaux Nobles' – Sonoma Coast - $75
007 Pinot Noir 'En Famille' – Sonoma Coast - $85
2007 Pinot Noir 'Joli Coeur' – Sonoma Coast - $95

Anyone else receive this offer? Thoughts? I'm tempted to purchase a few bottles of the Pinot. $125 for a Chard is pushing it.

I'm not familiar with this winery. What is their story? That better be *mind-blowing* Chardonnay. The Pinot is also expensive so it would be nice to have some buzz behind it.

Exactly, Winetex, unless people start posting that these are a *must* buy, it ain't happening especially @ those prices.

Morlet is Peter Michael's winemaker.  Nice guy.  I'm a fan of the Semillon blend.

Yeah, I signed up based on his work at Peter Michael.....can't say I was expecting prices to be like this......but then again, I'm not too surprised either.

LM makes mighty fine Chardonnay. But just as I couldn't justify the purchase price of Peter Michael's highly rated Chards, I can't justify the purchase of these either. I would bet, however, that these will be 94-97 point wines in Parker's mind, if that matters to anyone.
Beta testing a new signature.

Jimmy - I agree, these will rate highly with Parker. That said, these rate highly with me. When I tasted these wines earlier this year they were outstanding; one of the best wines being poured in the Chateau Boswell caves that day. That said, I will probably buy some, but not everything I am allocated.

If the times were different economically, I believe these would fly out the door. They really are excellent wines. However... many people have developed a fondness for CA$H that is hard to overcome on days the market is down 500+ points.

While on the topic, I "like" WS's newest issue of Cab new comers. Problem is that most of the new producers listed are all over $100.00. It's like every new producer these days comes out with wines over $100.00 right off the bat. Like Randy said, have you taken a look @ the state of the economy & stock market lately?!?

given the huge outlay of $, I've had to choose between this and Aubert. But if anyone has any Morlet lying around I'd love to try some. I bought 4 of the 2006 Coteaux Nobles and they got just OK ratings, so I"m not keen on these, even though it is a better vintage.

Maybe if I can find a new job, I'll be in the market again. I'm not expecting these to run out soon....
