Is the cab up $5 from the 05?

Really wish I was in on this one.........loved a bottle of the 2005 Cab I purchased in Napa...........please PM if anyone would like to share! Great wine with, relatively speaking, even greater pricing!

I'd love to take my entire allocation, but I really can't afford to blow $2,000 on wine right now. I will get some though. Love Foley's stuff!

i am going to try to buy all of mine, 12/12/6, but that is a lot of money! as joe mentions, it is interesting that i am being allocated so much since this is only my 2nd offer. i did buy all of the 1st one though.

I have purchased every bottle offered to me since day one. iirc my first offer was something like 3 bottles of merlot only. Bought all of that and the next mailer I was offered something like 5 merlot and 3 Cabernets. Bought all of that. Then the next one was something like 6 Merlot, 6 Cabernets and 1 Petite Sirah. Bought all of that. Next was same except 3 Petite Sirah. At this point magnums were finally offered. Now I'm up to 12/12/6 plus 6 375mls of Merlot.

I don't know about 06, but Kelly said that their 05 production was 40-50% larger than any previous harvest.

I signed up for a bunch of mailing lists in January 2003. The only ones that I am still waiting on are SQN, Shafer HSS and Switchback.

I'm among those getting 12/12/6 + 6 mini merlots on my second offering.  And my first offering was a delayed release, only 60-90 days ago.  I can't max out but will clearly buy some, and really appreciate the oppty to buy some .375s.  Written many times before, I'd really love to see more wineries offer these.

I wondered the same thing.  I was just added to the list with the recent, late offering of the '05s.  I only bought 6 bottles of the '05 Cab at that time since I had previously bought the entire allocation of a board member (6/6/6).  Nevertheless, I was offered 12/12/6/6 this time.  I'm sharing with a few friends, so I bought most of it.

What can you say about SB? Not enough great things to be said about SB. Did you notice the note from Kelly that they will hold the allocation. And, if you can't take the allocation by that time, even with the 2000+ people waiting list, if you let them know they will hold it even longer for you. Oh, not to mention the prices remain about the same. And, the little thing that the wine is great.

Where does one see Cust Service like that in this day & age???????

Yeah, needless to say that I am buying. I may have some to share @ my price for those interested.

If anyone wants part of my allocation, let me know. 12/12/6 like others (except for 6 375s of merlot, which I will be taking and keeping for myself, bwahhaahaaa)

Sold about 9 bottles of 36 total to locals at cost. Keeping 2 each of the 750mls and went ahead and claimed the 6 375mls for myself. That leaves 15 bottles of my allocation unclaimed. Told Kelly I was sorry but just couldn't swing the full deal this Fall. Hopefully next year.

Joe - you are smarter than me. I waited until I had buyers for the rest of my bottles... but the 375s were gone! makes me mad.

Me too. I just saw that last night.

I literally did this first thing Tuesday morning. I had a strange feeling those 375mls would be disappearing faster than my 401k.

i'm waiting to order & i am also disappointed to hear that the 375s are gone.

considering everything else going on around us, however, this is a relatively small disappointment.
