| I don't remember signing up for these. But, a mailer received: Robert Parker rates "Two brilliant offerings from Windsor Sonoma" and Girard Chardonnay -- all at 90+ points! Rated 91 Points! 2006 Windsor Sonoma Chardonnay, Russian River Valley "The 2006 Chardonnay is classic Californian in its display of assorted tropical fruits, full-bodied opulence, superb purity, good acidity, and a long finish." -Robert Parker (August 2008) Price: $24.00 per bottle Rated 90 Points! 2006 Girard Chardonnay, Russian River Valley "This brilliant Chardonnay was barrel-fermented in French oak and aged sur-lie for ten months. It boasts abundant amounts of honeysuckle and tropical fruits in a medium-bodied, pure, crisp format. Only a light touch of wood is noticeable. Consume it over the next 1-2 years." -Robert Parker (August 2008) Price: $24.00 per bottle Rated 90 Points! 2006 Windsor Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc, Russian River Valley "The stainless steel-aged 2006 Sauvignon Blanc exhibits a vibrant notion of melons intermixed with a hint of grapefruit. With terrific fruit, medium body, and zesty acidity, it should provide plenty of pleasure over the next 1-2 years." -Robert Parker (August 2008) Price: $16.00 per bottle | | |

| Is this the same as the Windsor Vineyards that has been around forever? (cheap brand, does a lot of custom bottling/label stuff for corporations, gifts, etc) | | | 2008: the end of an error | |

| When I deleted the e-mail unopened, I assumed that very thing. They have an add in every issue of Wine Spectator. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| OK. Play along. Picture this line being delivered on TV in 1957 in grainy black and white "rabbit ears" reception during a McCarthy hearing by an elderly Senator with a slow southern drawl: "Ahh you now...or have you evah beeen...a membah of the Comminist Pahrty!??" Now, substitute: "a Wine Spectatah subscribah" for the last six words and I think you have your answer. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |
