2005 Jones Family Cabernet $95
2005 The Sisters $50

I thought that I was getting off easy this mailer season but I've had three offers this week (RC, Jean Edwards, and this) all tempting me to make at least small purchases.  My full allocation of this wine (a case of each) is unlikely to be claimed, though.

Anyone care to compare The Sisters to Drinkward Peschon and Karl Lawrence for value?

From my limited experience, the Sisters is an earlier drinking wine, followed by the DP and KL. This to me is a plus.

Starting in 2007, another Thomas Rivers Brown wine. By chance or design, my cellar is starting to look like his own personal portfolio..
Beta testing a new signature.

2007 is going to be a "hybrid" vintage (HPB dealt with harvest and fermented the 07; TRB will complete the 07's elevage and determine the blends).  2008 will be all TRB.

i was allocated 24 estate, 24 sisters & 1 mag of the estate....

i'm all in  & considered asking for some 375s, but that would have pushed me further past my pain threshold than i could stand.

i will say that between me, my etrade card & the jones website, one of us (probably me) was having technical difficulties that persisted for several days, so i just filled out the order form & put a check in the mail.

The website has been revamped for this year and while Stephanie worked round the clock to make sure it worked perhaps the website was causing the problem.  I let her know that you were having a problem and she is going to contact you about it.  And thanks very much Gus for your generous order - let me know if you do decide you want some 375s and I'll see what can be done.

Thomas Rivers Brown may be just what the Doctor ordered.  It will be interesting to see what he can do with Harris Estate as well.
