| Killing me. Just killing me. I'm all-in, but killing me.
WTF happened to Three Corner this year? One botle last year, 0 now? I'm guessing production was just too small?

| IIRC, Parker said that the Three Corners was so limited that it was blended in with one of the other wines. East Block?

| I think they're eliminating the 3 Corner. Maybe not. Vague memory.
I may pass completely. Love these wines but the prices are getting assinine and I need money for more aged Barolo anyway. | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone.

| Talked to Wendy today and they just didn't have enough to release.
This price point is at my outer bounds and I think I'm going to fence a couple of bottles at work...

| Joe, why not order and piggyback on Shannon's Vinfolio dump?
I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up sharing several bottles :-/ CellarTracker has depressed the hell out of me lately and I just can't justify dumping this much money into wine.

| I piggy back myself Drew. I just happen to be the major buyer on this piggy back the past several mailers. Too easy to pass when you're not totally vested. | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |

| Joe, why not order and piggyback on Shannon's Vinfolio dump? Ehh? I think I've only ever purchased two bottles of Rochioli. ;) No dumping from me. Chico - welcome back! | | | |

| Was talking about piggybacking on the dump vs. the order... Now that WIML is an official verb ("That order?, I so WIML'd it"), I assumed you weren't stockpiling to flip ;-) | | | |

| FYI, Second wave just hit our email box. Allocations are the same as first wave. Interesting since we just made the list this Spring quite a while after the original SVD Chard offering. Looking forward to this one. JimmyV, Thanks again for allowing me to purchase your allocation a few years back. Looks like I can finally buy my own now. | | | |

| Get used to it. There's tons of wine in the pipeline right now at a discount. People are not buying at the moment. This is the "wave". It'll pick up again but at the moment it's a buyer's market. | | | Joe-----Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |

| WIML,
I think you are right. I suspect a number of wineries are moving through their waiting lists at this time.
I was suprised since we were told in the spring, we would get an offering for "some" pinot this fall but full allocations would not come until next spring.
It will be an interesting fall, especially for wineries that have been aggressively raising their prices.

| As an FYI - I had a friend stop by Rochioli last week and they were selling "a $90 pinot" at the counter. Don't have any more details, other than that sounds like the West Block... | | | |
