| PremierCru's website does not update in real time. Someone else could have ordered one before you got in and that could have been what reduced this to 1.
Unfortunately I didn't see this until just now so I didn't get any. Fortunately I have something like 15 bottles already.
Btw, I'm thinking the reason they went out and got this was because I shared a bottle with them the day before Thanksgiving and they must have liked it

| Yes, they told me they had recently tasted this and thought it great.
Since their website doesn't update real-time it's best to call on the hot wines. And get on their RSS feeds.

| Missed it too. They received only received three cases. Gone in a flash.
I decided I had to have some, so went on Wine-Searcher and found some on the East Coast for $20 more per bottle.

Boy, that is for sure. PC must be crazy busy. I recently tried to buy three selections that all had quantity left on-line, and missed all three (A private collector sale on PC, Dr. Andrew Levitt).

| The ETA from the Wineclub is January 2006, much better than the second half of 2006 from PC. | | | |

| Just curious - did anyone ever receive these wines from Premier Cru?
This is my one really old outstanding order from PC. At first they said they were having problems sourcing the wine then they said it was going to come in. Nothing yet and no make good. This is one where I don't want my money back, I want the wine. I'll update after I talk to them today.

| I hope it works out for you - of all the wines to not come through, that would hurt real bad. | | | |

| Yes, this wine has long disappeared from the market and was always hard to get. | | | |

| Unfortunately this is probably the case. That's why I was wondering if they fulfilled any of the orders. | | | |

| Current market conditions are immaterial. PC sold you the wine. That means they must deliver. For some reason many people are content to accept a substitute which is far below what PC is legally obligated to provide. Don't be one of those people Winetex. | | | |

| I have never dealt with PC. But don't they have some sort of "vintage substitution" or "based on availability" fine print in their website? Generally speaking, Dan is right. They should get you the wine even if they have to buy it at auction and sell it to you at their loss. But most merchants try to cover themselves with "availability" caveats. | | | Beta testing a new signature. | |
