Green Chartreuse, aged in oak and marked way up in price.  Really, really good stuff.  I'll have to side-by-side it with regular Chartreuse sometime, but my impression (on the basis of a couple sips) was that this is totally worth snagging a bottle of.

I like to mix with regular Chartreuse, but this I'd be inclined to only drink neat.  Smooth, palate coating, this little splash of fire in the midpalate that just disolves away, and an epic long gorgeous finish.  Don't inhale too much as you sip it (it's still pushing 60% alcohol).

Just lovely.

I'm with you - this is the best liqueur I've ever had.  The guy who introduced me to it described it as being so complex that it's like a "marching band going up and down your tongue where you can hear all the different instruments".

The downside is that it's very expensive - over $100/liter.  But since you only need a couple of drops I suppose a bottle will last forever.

(Full disclosure: I sell this and lots of other magical potions.)
