| So this thread has turned me into an alcoholic. I can only afford to drink one or two bottles of wine a week... but bourbon? Much more affordable :-D
Bought a bottle of single barrel Wild Turkey (50.5%) on sale for $39 and have been drinking my way through it over the last few weeks. I'm convinced this would clean oil stains off of my driveway, so I usually put a drop or two of distilled water on the top to open it up a bit. Also picked up a bottle of Buffalo Trace, but have not opened it. | | | |

| Been drinking my way through the bottle of Buffalo Trace. AWESOME bourbon. It's so good, we're going out of our way to hit the distillery on the drive back to Seattle. Going to do the "wax dip" at Maker's Mark, as well. | | | |

| I've been drinking lately the Black Maple Hill Bourbon....dear god! This is what I belive to be a rye recipe bourbon which makes it seem a bit sweeter and floral than a wheat recipe bourbon. Net Net, if you find it buy it. I have a bottle of the 23 year old Black Maple Hill Rye Whiskey which is supposedly one of the hardest to find and best rye's on the planet. Supposedly a case came into the state of MA and somehow I managed to wander into a store that had 6 of them.....now 5 and as of tomorrow if they have any more 4 left. | | | "It's better to have your enemies inside the tent pissing out, then outside the tent pissing in." -- Lyndon Johnson | |

| The 23 year old is ridiculously hard to find. I'm going to beg and grovel when we're out there in a couple of weeks, but I don't think it will do any good. I'm very impressed you got a bottle for your anniversary present. I've thought to myself a million times that my marriage drives my liquor consumption, but I've never had the testicular fortitude to go out and buy an $80 bottle of bourbon and let my wife know JUST how I feel about the whole thing. | | | |

| Buffalo Trace is an awesome tour and a must hit if you can find the time (we spent 2 hrs). We tasted the Rain vodka, Buffalo Trace and Eagle Rare 10 year labels. Watched a bottle of Pappy 20 year hit the floor of the bottling line... Woodford Reserve is closed on Mondays, so we just kept going. | | | |

| I loved the Maker’s Mark tour. Can’t believe they produce that quantity of excellent B. from those small lines. | | | |
