Hiedler is a favorite producer for fine QPR dry Riesling and Gruner Veltliner. Be on the lookout for his Weissburgunder Maximum (Pinot Blanc). It's remarkable, with excellent body and great versatility with food. It also ages well. I'm still working on my last few bottles of a case of the '97 Weissburgunder Maximum. It was, and still is lively and fresh, but has picked up some richness with age.

Hiedler makes an excellent Gruner Veltliner.

Agreed on the Hiedler Gruners. The Thal Novemberlesse is a frequent purchase for me.

I'm sitting on a number of bottles of the '97 Gruner Veltliner Maximum. So far it has not moved one bit since release. I keep waiting for some development in Gruner Veltliner from good vintages, and I'm beginning to believe that it may be the slowest maturing grape variety out there.
