Tasted January 18, 2007 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Weis Wein glass. Light straw color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of orange marmalade, apricots, acacia flowers and some wet stone. Flavors of oranges, apricots and lemon tart. Light to medium acidity and body. Light and nibble on the palate; exactly as I personally prefer my Kabinett. This is a very quaffable Kabinett at a very affordable price. Based on our retail pricing of $18.99 I’d say the value is between recommended and highly recommended. (91 pts.)

The Spreitzer brothers are doing some great things in the Rheingau.

And lo and behold...your price was actually not far off what I can get it for locally ($17).

Thanks for pointing out the price. That bears correction. I bought this at retail but out of state and had it shipped in. I can't even find this wine locally.
