Water white, medium nose of citrus, lychee, peach, stones, pears and florals. Medium plus body, medium plus intensity and medium plus acidity. Stones, honeysuckle, citrus, tropical fruit on the palate. Balanced. 87pts

I bought a bottle of this wine the other day. I marked it down significantly for being a baby auslese sold as kabinett. There's no kabinett delicacy anywhere in this wine. It's the Napa Cab of kabinett.

My Germany notes are 2nd in line after Sauternes etc for having a hard time actually conveying what I want to.

So what did you think about the weight of this wine. While I thought it was very good wine (I may actually buy some), I will store/serve it as an auslese.

These notes are from more than a month ago, but just from reading my note I can tell I thought it was definitely over kabinett body, (medium plus) and more towards upper spatlese, auslese.
