Tasted May 14, 2006 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Weiss Wein glass. Light straw color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of light gooseberries, grapefruit, peach, citrus fruits and a touch of flowers. Flavors of apricot, cling peaches and a touch of grapefruit. Good acidity, well balanced. Drink over the next year or so. Based on the retail purchase price I paid of $15.29 I’d say the value here is recommended. (89 pts.)

Happy Father’s Day to all of the father’s out there.

Tasted June 18, 2006 at home. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Weiss Wein glass. Dark straw to light yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose slightly off from the previous bottle. Still showing some notes of citrus fruits, peach and grapefruit but all the other aromas previously noted are completely missing. Still has flavors of apricots and grapefruit but the peach is noticeably absent. Good acidity, balanced overall. No rating or value assessment since this bottle is slightly off from the previous bottle.
