Sweet and balanced with plump acidity. Finishes with all the intricacy of fruit and mineral interaction that one can dream of. Phyll's score: 94pts

Glad you like the Weil. I've had many at tastings and thought they were good, but never thought they were worth the price. I have the same problem with Muller and Schaeffer.

GATC, what do you think about the ageability of this wine?

I agree that Weil, Muller Catoir, and Willi Schaefer are quite pricey. I grab as many as I could if and when I find them for a song.

I don't know anything about that wine. I made sure that the 2003's that I bought had enough acid to age like other years, but many that I have tried to not appear to have that. They to make great wines so I would think that they would age like normal years.
