anthony - I had it few months ago. It was one of the best 01' I had to date. Infact, it was one of the best bottle I had in a while!!
But, I have one bottle in WC and its going to close today for $230 I still have few bottles left but its hard not to sell it and buy something else with the profit

No. Ojeffso, Seek and I had it several months back. I had the wine scored in the low 90s.

I'd take the money and run...in fact, I already did with my two bottles!

Switchback Ridge is an example of my dilemna: Kelly P. is truly one of the great young people in wine today. A very personal touch in a business where demand exceeds supply and hubris would be all too easy. I buy their wine to support the family, maintain the bond and enjoy the wine.

I know I can flip it for a profit but the personal connection makes that hard to do.

mtpockets - I know what you are saying but my one bottle lot of 01' Cab went for...... $300!!!

I felt the Merlot was the best out of the three 2001 Switchbacks, with the PS being second. The Cab is a good effort and a very fine drink in the 91-92 point range for me.

wow ricky, these seem to be going up in value. some guy has a 3 pack that is at $675 right now with 4 days left to go. if he ends up getting close to $800 for 3 i might have to pull the trigger and sell some of these.
