Does anyone have some TN's on these?  Thinking of picking them up locally.

I'm a fan of Sperss.  Don't remember the 99 Barbaresco but its a chunk of change for what it is.  If you have had the Darmagi and enjoy it then go for it otherwise I'd advise caution.  The Darmagi is a just a curiousity imo.

The Barberesco is $70, Darmangi is $85, and Sperss is $90. Buys at these prices?

I haven't had any of these but the prices are good. I would buy the Sperss in a heartbeat, a maybe on the Barbaresco and agree with Dan on the Darmagi - it is not one of the best in the Gaja portfolio although that vintage might be good.

'98 Sperss for $90? Nice buys. Try outstanding buy! Where can I get some at that price? I was looking for it yesterday and the 375ml cost more than that.

Gaja...italian wines that taste like over done american fruit bombs. priced like they are traditional something you may have missed out on....big deal. it's truly a shame because gaja is such an old label....oh well ya know like it is...nothing is sacred. wine is sacrament to that!
