Here's what RandyW had to say in two successive posts in May:

Last night: 2004 Fogdog. Will consume the remainder tonight. Pretty darn tasty!

Just finishing off the 2004 Fogdog. Um, you pinot heads should check this out. IIRC $28, and showing very nicely, even on the third day. Best on the second day, but always approachable. Quite yummy.

Beta testing a new signature.

I'm going from memory from a few weeks ago when we were at Phelps. It was a medium bodied wine, nice fruits, no real Pinot "funk" to speak of, with a medium finish. Overall, a solid but unspectacular wine. I think it's a solid wine at the price point, and as the vines get some age could do better.

IIRC, this is from the Sonoma Coast just north of the town of Freestone. The vines are young - maybe third or fourth leaf. This is a really cold part of the "real" Sonoma Coast but in a year like 04 (very warm) it should be good. Radio Coteau sources from a vineyard near this one.
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

I would not rate this wine as spectacular, except for the price point. It is in between the jammy fruit-in-your-face style and a more austere (classic) style. I was expecting very little, and was thus quite pleasantly surprised. Let us know what you think!
