I have two of these, but have not yet tried one. I never hear anything about Andrew Geoffrey, though, and I haven't spoken to anyone who has tried this wine. Has anyone here? It is relatively inexpensive and the WS review was good ( 91 ). I would open a bottle, but the review says that tannin might be an issue while young, so I'd prefer not to yet. Let me know if you have tasted it or know someone who has.

I sell this wine at the store and if you want to open one I would put it the decanter for 2 hours. It is well made and the fruit comes from one of the 2 highest (elevation wise) vineyards in all of Napa. BTW what is the price of this wine in your market? It is pricey here in Louisville. WS says drink from 2005 to 2012.

I think it ran $69.99. Not outrageous, but I'm hoping that it is good.

I always assumed Andrew Geoffrey was a person but after looking at their website, it turns out it is the first name of the owner's two sons.

I also have a bottle of the 2001 (purchased for $75). Will set on it for a bit. No major tasting notes on CT either...
