I picked up a few 750s and a magnum - but mainly because it's my 2nd son's birth year. Frankly, I'm not going to open any of my bottles for about 15-20 years.

If they weren't for my son, I'd take my first peak in about 10 years (and not before). From everything I've read, they need an incredible amount of time and can show fierce tannins and a slightly greenish profile when young...(kinda like Sociando Mallet).

Parker 95 points. Tognis are known for their ageing potential. I had the 97 about a month ago or so & it was a youngster. I had the 92 over a year ago, & the last couple of sips were the best.

If you must open one, give plenty of time in the decanter. Though, decanting time is not a substitute for proper ageing.

I had the '92 a couple of months ago. Big brooding wine. If I were so fortunate to own any, I would give it another 5 years or more.
