How long ago? Wouldn't happen to have a TN on it with decanting time, etc.?

I had that wine soon after the wine was released (got a bunch of bottles cheap when Liquor Barn went bankrupt). No formal tasting note but at the time I thought WS and Parker overrated the wine. I also thought it wouldn't be close to mature for at least 20 years. As a result, I sold off my remaining bottles for $450 a piece or thereabouts. Sorry.

In various places I've read this to be very tannic (of course).... yet fairly low in acidity, and might drink better earlier rather than later. I've also seen WS and Parker start to lower their scores in subsequent tastings. I'm trying to get fresher opinions. Thanks for responding though Jones.

Incidentally, I've seen this go for about $600/bottle now.

During the heighth of the boom, it got up to $800 a bottle. I sold mine off in around 1995. In retrospect, I sold way too early. Course, I got em for $50 a piece so I am not complaining.
