Unread Post "Star" Mysteriously Appears

Details: This keeps appearing on folders (forums) without any new posts. Without an unread post counter this issue has leaped to my number one problem.

This happens when I refresh the page to see new posts or open the page for the first time in the morning.

I've noticed this as well... very strange behavior... though the unread posts (bolding of the topic) seems to work correctly now.

I just got confirmation that the cookie based folders for determining new messages is changing over to being tracked in the database... this is good news for many reasons... it'll all be the same for every computer you view vinocellar.com on, and it'll get rid of the inconsistency of the folder "stars"

It seems like this behavior is session-based. ie if I close out of my browser and then start a new session later the unread star reappears. Probably still a cookie issue.

Further, this is no longer cookie based... this information is saved in the database.
